One of the best things about living in New Zealand is that it has its very own "Christmas Tree", the Pohutakawa. Its vibrant crimson flowers set against its dark green foliage are striking. There are few things better than having a BBQ and beer in the shade of pohutakawa next to the beach on a warm sunny Christmas Day. Can't wait!
